The hotel Piccolo Sciliar offered a perfect base for my hiking adventures at Seiser Alm. I appreciated the reasonable price of €62 for a clean, adequately sized room with a warm shower and stunning views of the Petz from my enclosed balcony. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, from fresh pastries to scrambled eggs, and plenty of coffee options kept me fueled. The location was convenient near hiking trails, making it easy to explore the area. However, the service left much to be desired. Check-in felt a bit chaotic, and I noticed a language barrier with the staff. Some areas were confused about breakfast layout, leaving me feeling a bit lost. The dining experience could use improvement too—dinner was self-service but somewhat disorganized. While I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dinner options, the initial service was a bit unfriendly. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel provided a fantastic location and decent amenities, making it worthwhile for a nature getaway.

the location is the only decent aspect, but don’t expect to eat well here. dinner was absolutely terrible, with rubbery panna cotta that should've been thrown away. I expected to be treated like royalty but instead dealt with the rude hotel manager. this place should be shut down, just terrible service. I almost wrote a good review, but I just couldn't.

Our Double Room had a nice private bathroom, shower, and a TV. The hairdryer was handy. The heating kept us cozy, and the marble floor felt great underfoot. We loved the indoor swimming pool—it was like a little slice of heaven after hiking all day!

Inconsistent room cleanliness!!! Limited English-speaking staff creates a communication barrier for non-Italian or non-German speakers!!! Heating in rooms wasn't effective, leaving my wet clothes damp!!! Dining service felt disorganized with confusing menu options!!!

A well-suited match for a weekend outing in Alpe Di Siusi with extraordinarily good value for money. The self-service espresso machine made mornings much better, keeping my energy up for hikes. Just be mindful of the traffic restrictions when planning your trips around the area.
